Bee Hoon Soup is a typical lunch at home, the way my father has unofficially set over the years. Soup boiled from anchovies, some vegetables, fishballs and sliced chicken. Served with cut chillies in soy sauce.
I had that for dinner last night and for lunch just now. As I was taking my first mouthful of the bee hoon, the taste of it brought me home. I suddenly misses home. Why not during dinner last night? It has to be lunch, I guess. Once again, the thought of 'why am I here?' haunted me.
So unsettling... 600 over job cuts at Sensis- Telstra from the news last night. fhew~ Got to be thankful that DH still has a job.
"For my thoughts are not your thought, Nor are your ways My ways", says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than yours, And My thoughts than your thoughts." (Isa 55:8-9)
