"Recalculate" - Have you ever come to a point in your life that you had to recalculate your time, your priorities, and even some appointments? What is the meaning of that word so often used? It is the description of what happens when we are considering or navigating change. In fact, the concept of “examining” the realities of life and how those measure up to our vision for our family is an important strategy for parents to be doing on a regular basis. If it reality doesn’t match up to vision, then the option to “recalculate” may be important. The GPS is a good example of how it recalculates the journey when we are off course on a trip. The only way we can recalculate is to slow down enough to examine and evaluate the condition of our relationships, the habits of our family, and the daily stresses of our life. By asking, “Is this the life I want to live?” we can begin the process of evaluating. If the answer is “No,” then recalculate and get yourself and/or your family headed back in the right direction. Hallelujah!

Was on-call at WVA today, while having lunch I received a call for the receptionist job I applied during the week. The caller asked me to share about my reception experience, and I was barely half-way through when he interrupted. 'We will call you back'... I went silence. My heart sank. Have I done so badly? (~_~;)

While I was preparing dinner. DH went through our mail. Among them was notice of due road tax- $700+! Again, I was silence for a while. Another damage... But lo and behold, a sms came in on my phone. I was call in for my casual reception duties for 4 days! That is exactly what we need to cover the road tax! 'Can you believe it...!' DH repeats.

Hallelujah! He reassures us again that He provides.
