"Recalculate" - Have you ever come to a point in your life that you had to recalculate your time, your priorities, and even some appointments? What is the meaning of that word so often used? It is the description of what happens when we are considering or navigating change. In fact, the concept of “examining” the realities of life and how those measure up to our vision for our family is an important strategy for parents to be doing on a regular basis. If it reality doesn’t match up to vision, then the option to “recalculate” may be important. The GPS is a good example of how it recalculates the journey when we are off course on a trip. The only way we can recalculate is to slow down enough to examine and evaluate the condition of our relationships, the habits of our family, and the daily stresses of our life. By asking, “Is this the life I want to live?” we can begin the process of evaluating. If the answer is “No,” then recalculate and get yourself and/or your family headed back in the right direction. 3 Prime Ministers within 1 year

Last weekend was the first Australia election for me, not that I am voting, but the winning party is going to affect my life somehow now. Coalition party led by Tony Abbott has won the race (still trying to let this sink-in), he is my third Prime Minister since I arrived in Australia within a short period of one year. This is OZ politics... Welcome to Australia! Let's see what Tony has up on his sleeves.
